Founded in 1984, KILEWS Industrial Co., Ltd. develops and manufactures industrial electric screwdrivers, torque and angle sensor tools, controllers, torque measuring equipment and related accessories. From its Taiwan headquarters, KILEWS has expanded sales and service across Asia and other markets.
Company History
KILEWS Industrial Co., Ltd. was founded and developed the KILEWS brand for industrial electric screwdrivers.
International expansion began with a focus on Asia.
An electric screwdriver assembly plant was established in Incheon, Korea.
A trading and customer service operation was established in Tianjin.
A customer service and sales center was established in Shenzhen.
The Xinzhuang plant opened with automated production and inspection equipment.
Service locations expanded in Dongguan, Shanghai and Shenyang.
A Southeast Asian sales and service company was established in Singapore.
A Japan company was established; products gained European and US approvals; a sales and service presence began in Thailand.
Capital and overseas staffing increased to support Europe and the United States.
China operations expanded; 32V screwdrivers and controllers received relevant approvals.
The Shanghai operation received mandatory power-tool and ISO 9000 quality certifications.
A Vietnam company was established.
A new Xinzhuang factory was established for international supply.
The Xinzhuang factory officially opened.
KILEWS developed brushless motors and related counter and low-recoil screwdriver applications.
Brushless technology entered production at the Shanghai factory.
Industrial brushless cordless screwdrivers were developed with a focus on efficiency and ease of use.
The cordless range expanded; the SKD-BE smart screwdriver received a National Brand Yushan Award.
KILEWS West was established in the United States.
Development and production expanded into Industry 4.0 products.
The smart torque display tool system received a Taiwan Excellence Award.

A precision cordless impact tool and DC torque-sensor servo screwdriver received Taiwan Excellence Awards.

JMAG finite element analysis was introduced to support motor development.
