SK-B5 purchasing checklist: voltage, start type and bit interface
SK-B51 models are AC 110–120 V; SK-B52 models are AC 220–240 V. These are separate voltage versions, not one universal 110–240 V tool. Match the full model and nameplate to the site supply before ordering.

The L/LF and P/PF suffixes matter: use the exact model table for torque and speed; an LF/PF speed must not be copied to L/P. The published AC series does not specify an external BE/BN DC power controller. Confirm the supplied plug, electrical configuration and correct manual with sales.
Bit and holder checks
Send the required bit code and drawing: shank/profile, dimensions, retention method, working length and recess. A shared A/B/C/D label alone is not proof of interchangeability. SK-B5122L and SK-B5222L list A/B/D in the current reviewed headquarters table. Confirm the actual holder and supplied bit, rather than assuming all SK-B5 rows have identical interfaces.
Questions before specifying the order
Can a 110–120 V SK-B51 be treated as a 220–240 V Thailand model?
No. Specify the appropriate SK-B52 model when it matches the confirmed site supply, and check its nameplate and manual. Do not substitute voltage versions by changing a plug.
Does P differ from L only in the switch?
The reviewed 5112/5212 P rows start at 0.2 N.m, while L starts at 0.15 N.m. Check the full torque, speed and interface row as well as the start method.
Can I connect a BE/BN DC controller to SK-B5?
The reviewed SK-B5 pages describe direct AC tools and do not specify an external BE/BN DC controller. Confirm electrical configuration and the matching manual before installation.
What photos or information should accompany the inquiry?
